Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version: we collect your name, contact details and a few business questions when you apply. We use that information to get in touch about whether we can help. We don't sell your data, we don't use third-party ad tracking on this site, and we store as little as we need for as long as we need it.

Who we are

Lucent Lab is a marketing agency based in Dartford, Kent, UK. We build Meta ads, lead generation and follow-up systems for small businesses. For the purposes of data protection law, Lucent Lab is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

You can contact us via the application form at lucentlab.uk.

What data we collect and why

When you submit the application form on this website, we collect:

  • Name and business name — to address you correctly and understand who we're talking to
  • Email address — to send you a response to your application
  • Mobile number — to call or message you if that's the quickest way to follow up
  • Business information (type of business, monthly revenue, ad spend, how you get clients, growth bottlenecks) — to understand whether we're a good fit for each other before we speak

The legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, our legitimate interest in reviewing applications and responding to people who have asked us to get in touch.

How your data is handled

When you submit the form, your information is sent via Web3Forms — a form handling service — directly to our email inbox. We do not operate a database of applicants. Your submission arrives as an email, which is stored in our email account (Google Workspace).

We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for any purpose other than responding to your application and, if we work together, managing our client relationship.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies. We do not run analytics software (Google Analytics or similar) and we do not use the Meta Pixel or any other advertising tracker on this site. The only external requests made by the page are to Google Fonts (for typography) and Web3Forms (when you submit the application form).

How long we keep your data

If you apply and we don't work together, we'll delete your application email within 12 months of receiving it. If we do work together, we'll keep relevant communications for 6 years from the end of our engagement, as required for business records under UK law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten")
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the form at lucentlab.uk. We'll respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle data, we'll update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. We won't notify you individually of routine updates, but we'll always keep the current version here.
